Hurricane Creek Park

Hurricane Creek Park is a small park on the east side of Lake O’ The Pines. This beautiful little park has day-use picnic area and a very nice boat ramp. There is plenty of shade in this park and great views of the lake.

Hurricane Creek Park picnic area has about 10 picnic tables for use. If you are looking to get out to Lake ‘O The Pines, but don’t want to visit one of the larger parks this is a great option.

Directions to the park:

  • Located on the north shore at Hurricane Creek. From Jefferson, take Texas 49 west to FM 729. Turn left, go 5 miles and look for sign on left side of road.
  • Ramp handles boats of all sizes
  • Launch fee required
  • Open all year
